Are appointments required?
We would appreciate an appointment being made to try on bridal gowns. Appointments are given priority with a large bridal room and a bridal consultant. Walk-ins are welcome, but you will get the best experience to prepare for your special day when you make an appointment!
We recommend bringing just one or two people – having too many opinions tends to get in the way of making choices. Choose friends or relatives who know you well and that you can trust to help you with your biggest decisions. All attention should be on you as the bride – so you can get the gown you love.
We recommend purchasing your bridal gown 6-9 months prior to your wedding date. This allows for company shipping and alterations. If you are purchasing a bridesmaid dress or mother’s gown, we recommend 5-6 months prior, as this will also allow you time for shipping and alterations.
Would it be unusual for me to buy a dress the first time I try on gowns?No, it is not unusual. Brides often find the gown of their dreams during their very first visit. There’s no “unwritten law” that you have to keep trying on gowns, comparing every dress to the one that was “love at first sight.”
Trust your instincts! After all, the sooner you decide on your wedding dress, the sooner you can move on to planning for the rest of your wedding party. The style and look of your gown dictates the wedding details.
Can I buy a gown off the rack?Yes, Celebrations of the Heart does offer to sell any type of gown off the rack. Usually, because they have been tried on before a small discount comes with an off-the-rack gown. See associates for details.
What about alterations?Alterations are not included in the price of the gown, however a seamstress is available based upon appointments. Her prices are low and her quality of work is the best! Please inquire for further contact information.
What if I’m from out of town?
Celebrations of the Heart will work with you to ensure the right size and fit. We strongly suggest getting measured at any formal wear store and then providing those measurements to us over the phone or through email. Please keep in mind any measurements provided to us, Celebrations of the Heart is not responsible for.
Once we receive measurements from the entire tuxedo party, a half down payment is required to place the order. Once the tuxedos arrive in our store the week of the event, the remaining balance must be paid off before they leave the store. Any weekend rentals are due back to Celebrations of the Heart the Monday following your event.
